I am What?

So, back in 1990, and yes, that far back! Fresh out of primary school and straight into Lipson Comprehensive (now Lipson Co-operative Academy) I joined the then ultra-modern fairly-new secondary school in Plymouth, where I discovered computers that connected to things (their library had a 1200/75 baud Prestel modem).

One of those things was their BBC Econet network, run by a chap called Richard Newton-Chance who asked me for a username to log in to the system with. Between us (I can't remember who) we decided on FINKY and the password "HEDCASE" (yes, that goes back a long way too) and the legend was born.

So every day when I was fiddling with these rather primitive BBC Micro machines, I'd have to type in:

*I AM FINKY
